I hope that someone will continue to maintain this blog, past the announced December 30th closing date, as a service to themselves and all other local postal employees.

No Really MoM we need this or make some other site for us to make a bitch on. Your doing a real good job with this. Maybe we can talk the old webmaster Roger to do it if you don't want too. He is kind of crazy with all his views too.

A year-end word in 2008 about the foolishness of excessive and compulsive lying; a self-destructive sickness and trap for egomaniac fools (apparently often accompanied by delusions of grandeur.) Remember that the evil one was a liar who attempted to deceive the Son of God himself in the wilderness with several false offers of personal gain, promises which she had no authority or power to offer in the first place. Lying can become an addiction because it can start out so easily and is so sweet without any apparent immediate repercussions. In the long run, however, the consequences can be totally devastating.

Simply stated, God hates liars. (This is quite a significant statement, since God generally wishes to be characterized as a *loving* God.)
---
God Loves the Truth

*The LORD hates those who tell lies but is pleased with those who keep their promises.*
Proverbs 12:22

Our Master has a strict honor code. From Genesis to Revelation, the theme is the same: God loves the truth and hates deceit. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Paul lists the type of people who will not inherit the kingdom of God. The covey he portrays is a ragged assortment of those who sin sexually, worship idols, take part in adultery, sell their bodies, get drunk, rob people, and – there it is – *lie about others.*

Such rigor may surprise you. *You mean my fibbing and flattering stir the same heavenly anger as adultery and aggravated assault?* Apparently so....

Why the hard line? Why the tough stance?

For one reason: dishonesty is absolutely contrary to the character of God.

Thanks to all of you for letting me know that you want this blog to continue. Also, I have found a couple of individuals who would take this over and keep it going for me. I would like to put this quote I found into the blog:

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
-- Herm Albright

So after reading that quote I have decided to continue this blog on into the next year. So to all of you out there please continue to post your comments and to let others know that they can come here to air their views without any censorship.

Thank you,

MOM

Thanks, Mom!

It's all about choices.

Keep it going. I don't always get a chance to read it, but when I think of it, its cool to log on and see what's up.

And maybe some time we can all have a little get together and meet each other. Or maybe at next years picnic. it was pretty fun this year, did drink a lot, but I wasn't driving, I had my sister who doesn't like drinking come with me so I could just have fun.

There are some interesting mystery people on here that would be fun to get together with.
